Now that looks incredible
Bloody hell.
Amazing
Yay! This looks great!
This is what DS gaming should be about. Do you see how you have to use the touch screen with the boomerang. Genius.
It's almost like Zelda unleashed, the scope for more complex puzzles and dungeons using the DS as a platform is simply mind melting.
I'm assuming this is in-house and not farmed out like Minish Cap?

Sweet. We're finally getting a good run of Ds games and Zelda just looks great.
Finally got this in the post t'other day. While I've only played it for about an hour, I'm absolutely loving it.
I deliberately avoided most info on it, so was quite surprised to see it was controlled fully with the stylus. I've neglecting my DS for a long time. Hopefully that'll change now.
I stupidly bought the Japanese version thinking I couldn't wait, and then never opened it. Doh. Really need to pick this up, but I'm still with Space Giraffe (and Minna no Golf) at the moment.
Fuck me we need some sort of negotiator in here to talk Paper down from that golf game. The putting is amazingly good as is the game overall, but at the end of the day it's golf!
But...but... Sophie has a costume with pink hair?
... and different costumes allow you to work better with different clubs.
I'm on the 10th tier. It will fall soon.
Good grief. All it needs is a collectable trading card costume hook and a Space Channel 5 themed course and we'd never see you again.
Should I be getting Phantom Hourglass then? Is it as gnarly as everyone says.
I'm pretty sure my postman spent the entire strike period playing my copy of Zelda. He should have delivered it weeks ago.
I've not bought a DS game in yonkers!
I was buying like a few a month, now its kinda dried up for me a little.
I do want to play this, but I do have a general Zelda fatigue going on generally, I might leave it a year or so.
Might be because I'm not commuting on the train at the moment. DS whilst driving is more fun, but more deadly.
There are still great looking DS games released every month. Recent games I've been interested in are Theta and Namco Museum DS (Pac Man VS!), ordered the latter. Taiko DS is damned good as well.
In a way, sticking to DS games _only_ would probably be a good way to play games at the moment.
Welcome to the party, PAL!
Finally bought this, and got the headspace and the time to give it a fair crack.
If the first puzzle is anything to go by, I am completely screwed. Took me ages, some kinda crazy subtle English or something that totally threw me...
So far its like totally zelda dudes, the only wacky thing is the roll scribble, that's a bit naff... Other than that, think its gonna suck me in big time.
I found rolling easier by double tapping against the edge of the screen.
Also: I enjoyed the multiplayer in this MUCH more than the main adventure. Just for the record.
I appear to be on planet thicko with this one as I'm basically stuck at what seems to be a very simple juncture. I'm tearing my hair out and just can't seem to mentally make the necessary jump to progress.
Ok I am going to come clean. I was stick on the first puzzle. Simple as that, it was only until the fairy hovered above the first few switches did I really infestand the clues.
At least I think I did.
It used, or appeared to use, such subtle language that I was either baffled or thinking too hard.
Second from left
First on left
Something
Second from or on right
That should be freaking obvious.
Not sure if that was the right order.
Still it got me.
Oh and there was a brain training reference too, subtle.
Yes but at least you unstuck yourself. I'm at a complete dead end. I must be doing something wrong, but can't work it out. Either that or I have a bugged version of the game. I know which one my money is on.
Nintendo in one ds cart only product recall. I can are it now... Do you have this serial number? We're sorry but...
Anyways I've been cracking on with this... With ocarina of time there was this kinda pre game, we can't show you everything or you will die of exposure kinda design thing, the prequest bit...
I hope I am on that bit of this game, I found that a struggle in oot then it rocked out massively... It was just getting over that conceptual hill... Any other game and I might ditch it... But zelda has some serious jibbercredit..
So I am still sliding through this... It seems to lack the fundamental charm, just feels a bit by the numbers.
The more taxing puzzles seem to involve taking notes and wandering around a dungeon finding stones that give clues and there is something terribly contrived, even for a zelda game, about the whole thing.
I just unlocked a particular weapon that again is mildly interesting but feels more like a shoe horned concept than a totally free form ds type event.
Just the fact that your pointer cursor is a fairy, yet you are controlling link, just a bit off... I kinda thought you could have link being led by a fairy in a narrative sense, oh and the maguffin isn't even that motivating, less about peril and More about inconvenience?
Anyways, I'm gonna waddle on, the recent weapon has just done one of those, oh all those platforms you couldn't get to, now you can, but you can't remember where you saw them all, so its a trip to everywhere, metroid, kinda phase. Except it doesn't have the atmosphere of metroid.
