I may be in the minority, but I don't like it. Great that it has a bigger hard drive and HDMI, but it looks like something that would be at home in an angsty teenager's bedroom, not a living room. And compared to the PS3 it looks like a custom paint job. Guess it's meant for the keener gamer who needs the extra stuff. Still, 3 different SKU's available in the US now...
360 has always looked like a bad Dell... I think its what MS are aiming for.
In fact my Compaq Deskpro En looks like a 360!
Except mine is covered in skunge.
The word is the 120gig drive will cost $200!!! for beige plebs.
As we all know, drive trays are last gen anyways... its all about the slot loader!
My 360 is hidden behind the TV, just about see the Lost Planet faceplate lurking in the darkness. Cube is the only console I love the look of tbh...

I cannot stand this machine - it's on a whole new level of fugly (even next to the PS3 - that's an incredible achievement).
Gotta get one though - especially now that it has a HDMI port, I cant deal with not owning Blue Dragon! T_T - gonna end up buying a PSP at some point aswell.....I dont WANT one - but one look at the new Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core trailer was enough.
Damn all these exclusive games!

Weirdness, but my lovely wife, who clearly has awesome taste because she chose me, when she first saw a 360, she said "that's the first console I've seen that actually looks good". Her points of reference are everything from snes onwards until ps2 generation stuff.
That is crazy, I still think the 360 looks a bit naff. With age the original Xbox holds a bizarre over-weight charm for me now.
But no one likes the naff looking paint job on the 360 Elite, do they? Thats where you'd have to admit the finish on the PS3 is quite nice by comparison.

The Wii is just a non-entity. Tiny little box in the corner, whereas the remote gets all the attention. It's almost like the console bit doesn't exist and all the super magic secret squirrel stuff(Tm) is actually INSIDE the remote. Which is ideal for a console really. To not even exist and just the games appear on the screen. Although the ridiculously powerful bitters I've been drinking at a bbq today have probably nullified all my opinions.

I guess if you're a demo whore like me or you want to make use of the Microsoft HD download service then you'll need the bigger drive.
Shame you can't hook up a USB drive to it really.
Some software has been released that lets you install your own $80 120 GB hdrive instead, as long as you buy the right model.
I'm half tempted for the reasons of demo whorage mentioned.
