-Wii Musics Gamplay is based around Play Sessions

- You will have various songs from the Nintendo Sound Team.. Expect OLD BGMs to brand new ones.

- You will have different parts.. meaning Folk Guitars, Base Guitars, Trumpets, Maracass, Marimbas etc. over 40 parts will be available.. You can also be the conductor.. Each Part has different controls..

- For example the Trumpet will make strong sounds if you keep the wii mote at a high angle and weak sounds if the angle is low.. If you play drums you can use two wii motes.. If you are playing guitar you will use the C button as a pick. It does not limit itself in chords but you can play single sounds too.

- You can play 6 parts together.. Up to 4 parts can be played by humans..the others will be played by the CPU..

- Replay options

- Release date in 2008 TBA

If this is ANYTHING as good as bandbros, I might as well glue wii remotes to my hands.

Miyamoto wrote:

No, I never was. There’s an explanation for it, but it’s a little complicated. In junior high, I was in basketball, but I wanted to start a manga club. One of my senior teammates told me I couldn’t be in a sports club and a literary club at the same time, and we got into a big fight. In the end, even though I was a starter on the basketball team, I quit and formed a manga club. So I just ended up listening to the brass band.

got this on the Fri in Paland.

I really appear to be enjoying it.

What is odd, is that, y'know, folk are saying its not a game, and its just a toy, and Miyamoto only really refers to it as "software"... which is cool.

But it really is like a toy, its good fun, and slightly silly, and crazyily entertaining but whats odd is the structure is classic Nintendo, it won't unlock things unless you've tried everything to a degree of its satisfaction, so in progression is almost exactly like Zelda or Metroid... and the level of progressive entertainment is directly proportional to the amount of effort you invest.

One direct example is that to unlock the Zelda theme you have to complete, to no level of quality, the baton waving game ( about 4 tunes), that is in a completely different section to the jam section... once you have it available in jam mode and you have a crack at it, it then appeared to unlock the different play styles... thats all abit abstract.

The actual game is:

Pressing buttons in time to anything you want... so you can press a button to 4 4 timing and get a tune out of anything, even when notes aren't actually there in the original score... you have no real direct control over the notes... its more a timing exercise... the various instruments boil down to 4 types that it glibley deconstructs for you in the first tutorial.

Then there is the drum with balance board which is insane.
