I've been one patient mother fucker holding out for Okami, God Hand, Lost Planet while manz flew through them and committed their achievements to YouTube before I'd even got a sniff. Now I aint mad at ya, I'm getting involved at last and its all as good as had been promised. But my problem now is I've grown very used to having that next amazing game on the distant horizon and at the moment the future isn't looking too bright.

For me it has to be Metroid Prime Corruption and Super Mario Galaxies. Both those titles look likely to set the Wii on fire. Quite taken with the new Smash Brothers look too
If you're talking total pipe dream then I'd love to see something by Sega (I mean a proper Sega game or arcade port not some pants 3rd party thing that's dumped all over a classic IP. I still love that company, but It's been far too long since they released something left-field that's taken everyone by surprise. A new Shinobi on the Wii or (snore) Nights2. There must be some stuff in the works there as their in-house output is pretty thin at the moment.
Back to reality, there was a Youtube vid of SMG that showed Mario flying around these little planetoids. The way the levels wrap around on themselves in 3D looks like a great concept. From someone who spent a great deal of time just playing with the Katamary Damashii menu system I know this could be massive fun. Can't wait. XD
I never thought I’d say this, but I am genuinely excited about GTA IV. After seeing what the 360 and PS3 are capable of, the city that we’ll be able to play around in should be nothing short of stunning, and the possibilities endless. The fact that exactly zero screenshots have been shown, even though the game is due in a matter of months, means hyper-ponderment all round. Have they drastically changed the art style? What city? What time period? etc etc. According to the official site the trailer is due at the end of this month, and I’m looking forward to it.
Aside from that, there’s a bunch of Wii titles – Mario Galaxy, Metroid 3, Dewy’s Adventure namely – that I am geared up for. And even though it hasn’t been officially announced, PS3 Wipeout is going to make me pee my pants in excitement.

I'm seriously hoping the homebrew scene will kick off with the acceptance of the online delivery system. I just want some simple 1 concept games, that totally explore the mechanic... basically BitGens on a TV Game / Video Game Console (what are they called anyways?).
That "game with the tongue" on the 360 was perfectly reasonable attempt, just a bit dry... but it tried something and went with it.

Hehe. So true. Double Team (pictured above is total tosh and hilarious. The dialogue is based entirely around how many basketball references they can fit into a line. And the end of the film they get shielded from a massive explosion by a coke vending machine. There must be a video of that on the net somewhere it's priceless! XD

Dewy’s Adventure
Not heard about that, care to share the love on that one.
It's a new game from Konami, same peeps that did Elebits I think. You take control of a water droplet (Dewy) and you have to make your way through platform style levels. You have the ability to change your form however – if you raise your temperature gauge then you turn into condensation, likewise if you lower your temperature you become frozen – and you have to use these states to get you through the level. I’ve only read a brief preview so far, but it sounds brilliant fun.
Im really looking forward to a new survival horror game, be it biohazard 4 or silent hill 4 or what ever, im jus in the mood for some major survival horror action! Spag i knows you feel me on this ish! Ain't nuthin like soiling yah panties and realising you weren't wearing any under wear in the first 'van-damme' place! (sorry had to keep the van dame luv going).
But why look to the future when you can look to the past! There's a shit load of wealth im sure your ass has not yet sampled! I for one am working my poor way through xenosaga eps 1, and i have teh otehr 2 sittin next to it waiting to be played lol!

fudging hell that sounds inspired! I'm in, especially as Konami have proved with Elebits that they have completely mastered the Wii's control interface.
I want to get fired up over the forthcoming Wii games but (and I know I'm risking some major beatings here) its yet to take a hold of me. Dewy’s Adventure, Mario Galaxy, Metroid and SuperSmashBros all look like they're gonna be amazing but without the total confidence in the console I'm trying to avoid getting my hopes up.
112, I have to say as much as I loved Resi4 (manly down to the Mercenaries Mode) the survival genre is pretty played out for me. Although I remember talk of a 'natural disasters survival' a while back that sounded like a cool twist on the genre - anybody know what that was/is/will be?
Beyond that its gonna be a long wait to see what Seeds come up with.

FFXII is too much!
From March to most of the way through the summer I played nothing but FFXII. I love it to death!
The new DS one looks proper SICK aswell - the main party especially is much better, I spent most of my time on the PS2 version trying to get rid of Penelo. When Ba'gamnan (he's in the main party on the DS one!) and his crew kidnapped her I built a fatter spliff to celebrate... she cant even get kidnapped right! >:(
So then I spent the rest of the game trying to find an option to ho her off - but it never gives it! I can live with Fran - that's a WOMAN, but Penelo is SO butters!
Sega need to pull their finger out and give us Daytona - has there been an arcade perfect Daytona yet? No. So what's the wait for?

Surprised to hear you say Wii controls. You played Elebits or Excite Truck yet? Both fantastic examples of precise Wii control goodness. None of the other games I've played on it have come close to matching those two for controls.

Nope not yet but I'll get them at some point - I think teh problem is more that I spent ages dreaming about what the Revolution controls would be like and what it would mean for games and so far the closest I've come to blowing up over it is SCAD Hammers and thats minor tings in releation to what I want to be doing with those controls. Not trying to get everybody down, honest. I'm loving the PS2 at the moment but they aint gonna make games for it much longer and those mushroom sticks have ALWAYS been the suck. I think the Cube going has been a real kick in the balls for me too.

Kung Pow is class, but you have to be schooled in the old Kung Fu ways for it to have its full effect.
Spags ELEBITS + EXCITE TRUCK - GET. You've not played Wii until you've played those two games. Elebits especially will blow your mind wide open.

Can't WAIT for Super Smash Bros: Brawl. I loved the game on the GC, its still is one of my most played games on the system in multi and single player. I must have collected all but 2 of the trophies for that game!
I can't wait till this years E3 (or whatever it is now) and see the unvieling of yet more secret characters. Personally I hope they only choose characters that have a deep history with Nintendo, like the original fat Mega Man, and ofcourse...Sonic HAS to be in this! That announcement and trailer would be pretty huge I imagine. o_O

Metal Gear Solid 4 is also up their in terms of anticipation. MGS3 just blew me away with its characters and better story line pacing then the other two. The trailers for that game just keep throwing up questions and I demand to know the answers!
You know what? One game i really enjoyed recently was Yakuza, Not a true successor to Shenmue, and teh fighteing is somewhat broken, but it felt so good to play something of that ilk once again. Although Yakuza 1 is out in this country, Yakuza 2 still jus might make it to the West. Its been doing the rounds in nihon since late last year. 'SHINE GET' it Spag!
