I don't think this is DSi specific though I like the new Japanese colours, and the US blue is nice, but you have to balance that which which region shop you want
There is a Wii channel for 800 points as well which, afaict, lets you upload your microgames to the Wii.
Also WFC support - for exchanging games? I wonder if the Wii channel lets you play people's microgames too
That's awesome. Kung Fu Master and the Konami cheat. I badly need some Kung Fu Master in my life, I have fond memories of that as a kid and being spectacularly bad at it.
I had a go on the Jpn WiiWare version - you can upload your own minigames from your DS, or download Nintendo and user contributed versions from the Internet.
It really is good fun, there is a really wide range of creativity on display from the user contributed levels. I'm missing out a lot not having the DS version of course, the yank one comes out at the end of the month...
... and the game itself is probably a bit unbalanced and unfocused compared to other Wario Wares, but that is a totally expected price to pay for the construction kit upgrade.
Very very impressive, however, I in no way want to belittle your excellent artistry and accomplishment, just wait, just wait until you see the boiling broiling unlimited potential that I have to show, to the world, on planet Flipnote Hatena:
Unarguably the peak, indeed, the very summit of human accomplishment. I thank you. Come, come oh apocalypse.
I can't wait to somehow translate my glory into Warioware DIY, IF, if and when it appears, if it hasn't already on the creative shores known as "PALand".
Genuinely though, that must've taken AAAAAAAGGGGGEEEESSSS.
My only experience in playing/creating sprites and animations for Repton on the BBC... or my very painful delve into the Flightsim Toolkit, which I spent alot more designing that playing.
That's pretty cool. You wouldn't truly be able to recreate it in WarioWare but you might be able to create a pixelly interactive version. You can also make and distribute your own comics...
Most of the games in that vid took me an hour or so to make, with the exception of Hungry Hippos one which was a real learning process and took the best part of a day just to sequence all the AI commands correctly. I've spent over ten hours in the game creator alone. That's ten hours NOT playing a game. But it's still a ton of fun somehow.
This is brilliant. I made a micro game and everything, bought the Wii Channel uploaded, downloaded, sideloaded.
It's like the early Flash/Director development without the scripting. Block building instead, its almost identical.
I will video my game tonight, as you can't leave them anywhere public like flipnote hatena, which is a shame.
Kinda tough not to make the game sort of either very easy or impossible. Like the dudes say, you can make anything, the "game" part seems to be a series of tutorials aimed at unlocking stuff, like what I do not know.
Been hitting this hard, last night was up to I don't know'clock trying to come up with a decent entry for the "Mario" competition in PALand.
Balancing game design with zany Wario fizz is interesting and the way the "AI" slots are limited, spreading the events over multiple objects with Switches is very, either taxing, or challenging.
This is without losing your rag. The music maker is good, looking forward to an English Jam with the Band now.
That would totally take over my life! XD I can't wait to see the awesomeness people come out with for the contest section.
I want a DSi bad, but I'm so broke these days T_T
I'm holding off on the DSi until something pushes me over the edge (and more interesting colours are released). This might be the game...

I knew people would make wicked games for this!

Been slaving away on this all weekend. Here's a vid of everything I've made so far.

As you can see, I have literally broken the boundaries of people's very perception of what can, and can not be seen by the human eye.
You can see more of my wonderful creations online

I made an effort to video this:
The combination of technologies to make this completely frivolous thing happen absurd.
Working on the game of the week, "something Mario related". So far, so surreal.
