So Ivy the Kiwi wasn't earth shattering... but a new "might have been nights 2" game for Wii and 3DS could be interesting.

It does look a bit special - I love this style of game, give me anything even remotely Panzer/Star Foxish and I'm over the moon.
Part of me is thinking of dropping the 3ds for a year or so, scoop all that up later and get meself JPN Wii'd up. Can't be that expensive these days?
Can't you just get a PAL one and mod it to death? I've never looked into.
I'm pretty sure you can.
My Japanese unit with a Wiikey installed runs any NTSC Wii or Cube title I throw at it, even after numerous firmware updates. Seems like you can softmod these machines to bypass the region garbage too.
I'm absolutely all over this from now on.
It looks and sounds like NiGHTS with all the best bits borrowed from all the best games since 1996.
Majorly hyped. Like I said over on the other place, I don't even need to hope it will be amazing because I can plainly see it already is. Seriously over the moon, this is the best news in a while.

With the homebrew channel installed and Gecko you can basically play anything these days. I play PAL stuff on my US Wii and have played JPN games on it too. This does not require any hardware modification.
Have there been any updates regarding this? I'll be absolutely gutted if it's been cancelled.
Good spot, will have to do some magicbox hunting or find the official website, see what's happening, been 9 months hey.

That was easy, time to get the Google Translate on.
I've already been through all that, matey. Nothing has changed from what I can see in nine months.
Dammit, and I was getting all excited.
Seems like it has a publisher in Japan aswell.
Http://www.rodea.jp/ for reference. Maybe site hits will make it happen.
