Hi! I'm yoinking this from the ridiculously cool topic because it's a fantastic imititation of the original games' mechanics. Like Saurian said, there's a massive amount of new content and I think it captures the feel of Walter Hill's Streets of Fire, Final Fight, as well as the originals. (Some palettes might appear differenty because they have applied RGB corrections, it looks really good.)
The new moves and characters have been tuned to play well however you mix things up, it has that "just one more level" feeling and with 103 in total you're in a constant danger. This trumps any recent brawler

Oh, SEGA had them remove the download links but a Google search should result in several working locations on the first page.

This is better than anything Sega could ever have come out with - they just don't share the Love these guys have for the game! The soundtrack is fantastic too, there have been loads of remixes of the Streets Of Rage music over the years, this is like a collection of the best - along with a load of new mixes created especially for this release.
I would be on this, but am trying to push for the Portal 2 release date to speed up by playing the indy games on Steam! XD
Have any of your been following what Valve have been doing? They're proper fiendish!
so you buy the potato sack of indies games, put some play time in and portal 2 launches?
I've sorta played halve those games on various platforms, bit of a shame really, I'd go for it otherwise.
They've made it a little to hard to get anywhere, and the time it's knocking off will at best boost the release to early Tuesday morning. It's a clever way of getting people to play those games though, I hadn't played any of the Bit.Trip stuff before and I love it!
Its pretty great, but it doesn't seem to have made much of a dent - does a 'completed' indie game knock time off only?
I'm going 360 for Portal 2, and I've played enough of those indie games already, otherwise it would be fun to have a go at that.
Yes it's only for each game "completed" within the GlaDOS@Home page. Each game knocks about 50 minutes off the release date, people are going on about the Potatoes being used to "Overclock" the timer - but that's most likely wishful thinking as it hasn't happened.
Sorry to de-rail your topic Pizzadude! XD - I think we ought to make a Portal 2 thread.

Commander Video FTW!
Live action remake FTW! XD
LOL, that is brilliant.
