It's uncommon knowledge that the official DC stick only has 4 buttons work through the magic box. >_<

Unsure as to why because i used a regular DC pad prior to the change (see below) and the black & white buttons were mapped to L & R respectively ?!?

Anyway, PS2 sticks all seem to be the better option, Hori ones in particular ^_^

I've got a 2nd generation saturn pad thorugh the same convertor and it's lush!

I'm trying to learn Urien properly, he's rediculous. You can do something called 'charge buffering' which is just crazy! I saw some vids of Urien players juggling folk 5 times in the corner off a charge move. How!!? Charge Buffering is how.

Everyone knows a charge move? Guile. Sonic Boom. Flash Kick. Yes well remember those. (back 2 secs then forward and button, yes?) Well, you do that BUT you don't press the button until you've pressed back again?? So it's:

Back for 2 secs > Forward > Back + Button (move still comes out!!!!) AND it gives the important time advantage to allow a repeat attack. 5 times

Then there's something called charge partitioning, but i aint going there!

so basically you can buffer in the charge during his attack animation and recovery animation? I was aware of some basic buffering, like during blocks and jumps and stuff like that, but that does sound awesome.

How do the Hori parts compare to the Sanwa parts in the DC sticks? I really like the feel of the Sanwa sticks (even purchased a set for my cab). My DC stick needs to be loosened up a bit and possibly relubed, at the moment it tends to stick in the diagonal directions.

I think Saurian maybe your man for explaining your stick question. I'm pad all the way, though one day i will make the change.

The numerous sticks that are out there, from what i've read, Horis' Real Arcade Pro is the best buy if you've the money! Which is the stick i've my eye on.

I think some of the lads on ghz have HRAPs, Boog or Mood, can't remember.
