Riiiight

So it's FFXII (Potion) and it's being sponsored by Suntory a drinks company. Another entry into the list of game-comistable linkups.

Super Monkey Ball - Dole
Zool - Chuppa Chups
Cool Spot - 7up (or should that be the otherway around)

What was the game that was sponsored by Penguin (James Pond?)

Oh, yeah yeah, good call.

Pringles, Coca Cola, Swatch, some car company... 5 or 6 sponsors I think.

You've also reminded me of Summer Games, with all the sponsorship it had - Casio, Ocean Pacific, Santa Cruz, etc etc.

It's weird isn't it? I've played quite a few of those games a lot, but I had to really think to remember what the sponsorships were.

Which is a little scary, because that must mean they are subconsciously entering my mind. /me dons tin hat

A lot of those are good games aswell.

Not many of them jar too badly... the Wipeout Red Bull thing was a bit nasty, but games ads were new then, so it was more noticable.

Beach Spikers is full on though, thinking about it, and the Zippo stuff in Shenmue II was really lame.

Maybe, but I've had a secret craving for a Timex watch ever since.
