"In total, more than 100 pieces of new downloadable content will be available to gamers during the nine day period, including a never before announced major franchise on Xbox Live Arcade."
It'd be brilliant to see a LIVE Arcade release of Radiant Silvergun for that matter.
I feel a great disturbance on eBay. As if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror, and were suddenly silenced.
Ahh s**t I never thought about that, that would make me giggle if someone who rinsed £100+ on a title, just to make a profit on it.
On the Treasure 360 title, it'll certainly go down well Ikaruga for some reason seems to be everyone's favourite, unless you're actually into shmups properly then like many die hards you'll think Ikaruga is no more than a puzzle game. /extremist view out!
ROFL. I nearly flemmed on my keyboard reading your post Cacky.
I don't care if they do Live Arcade it. I didn't buy my copy to sell only to play. I still need the Japanese STV version for total pwnage though. In some bizarre fuckup the Euro one has a borked weapons system.

Nintendo has snubbed the loyal band first to take the DS home by releasing a new, improved model,...N64 was the only console in the Japanese giant's history to escape the makeover.
I hated Ikaruga. I'm not into the whole 'memory path' thing. Even GradiusV started to get like that on Loop2.
In argument to that I suppose that's the thing with mastering all games. Repeat routine. Oh well. There's only so far you can take most games I suppose.
I'll still download this, get a shit score, and then shelf it.
That would be good yes. Although I was reading on NTSC-uk from Kubrick that Xbox understanding of shooters is not good. Silly Xbox players!
I like originals though. It means a lot to have physical game rather than a download which means nothing. If more people play and understand then that can be only good thing. Can you think of forums being flooded with new Radiant Silvergun players just getting into the game for first time? Amazing.
I think price would also stay good on eBay. And thinking of Live downloads why SEGA not port Daytona to a new system? Live download would be the best thing ever. SEGA Rally port is perfect, Daytona would be perfect with good steering wheel like new 360 version.
Whether the Saturn version retains it's value will probably rest on two things.
1. Which version get's ported Saturn or STV. ST-V version is missing a few features that arguably make the Saturn version more desirable.
2. How good the port is. The last time I dabbled in ST-V and Saturn Emulation it was far from decent. I bet they go for a port as opposed to emulation, which will almost certianly result in differences. Purists will probably still put a premium on the Saturn version if that is the case.
Frankly who cares though. It's a great game and I love racking it out every now and then with a mate for a quick blast. As you said the more people who can experience this the better in my book.
Now all we need is Shinobi and Panzer Dragoon Saga. Come on Sega stop fucking about!

Coming to the 360 - yip! Man they must be throwing monies at peeps to bring the Japanese goodness to the 360...and I'm loving it!
