Click on the white arrow on the top right to get to the movie page - it looks absolute class ^^
There's a nice story about the new Smash Bros Brawl on the new official Sumabura site now aswell;

I botched ordering New Super Mario Bros too.
Gonna have to wait for the initial wave is over before ordering with any success.
But its looks freaking awesome.
And the 2 player thing looks equally freaking awesome.
Sadly not. I'm skinter than Mr Skint from Skinton. The only game I'm justifying buying is Sonic Riders, because, well it'd be rude not to really.

Have you watched the videos for the new Sonic on the Wii? - This first time since the days of Sonic CD, Fighters and Segasonic that I seriously NEED to get involved!

It looks Sexytime! And you can play it one handed - spliff in one hand, bangin Gabber in my ear + Sonic = Happynice!

They've got New Super Mario Bros at movietyme.com £19.99 delivered.
Woo, dispatched
Fingers crossed for the weekend.
Well.
It's basically "New Super Mario Bros.". It's like they've taken Super Mario Bros 1, mixed it up with some Mario vs Donkey Kong and added some moves from Super Mario Sunshine.
I've never played Super Mario Bros 3, so it might just be like Super Mario Bros 4 in comparison? Like Super Mario World never happened?
Fundamentally, you can't throw Shells upwards... could you do that in SMB3?
The new mushrooms are pretty tactically handy, the Mega Mario one is just carnage, the mini mario is better and more subtle, I notice a lot of puzzles to do with using that mushroom at the right time, and blue shall mario is basically sonic.
Going for the coinage now.
Quite tricksy it is squire.
I finished my first run through last night - I'm in love with this game; it's definitely a shade on the easy side (If you just want to get to the end) but as Jibber points out, going for 100% coinage adds a suitable layer of challenge.
It feels like an old friend - control is tight like a tiger & the naturally progressive levels retain that Mario 'feel'.
I'm hoping that the wait for more 2D Mario adventures won't be too arduous (bring me Super Paper Mario & Yoshi's Island 2 now!) - I crave the fun.
Even on the first world there is a pipe to coin thing thats a bit gnarley to get to. All the indicators are there, just kinda old school hiding off screen of stuff.
Got this game yesturday, and played it on the train this morning to work.
What a title, it's so much fun to play, I've only got to world 2, but if the first world is anything to go by I won't be able to hold back the huge grin on my face whilst playing it.
The style of gameplay is perfect for my lifestyle, being able to pick up and play the title and progress through the game, and go back at a later date to collect the rest of the big coins.
The new power up's are great especially the giant mario one, just watching the carnage as you run wild through the level is great.
I've yet to complete complete it yet.
Been dragged onto other things.
The coin hiding is a bit, either naff, or evil depending on your pov... usually theres a visual clue, an ominously long gap of nothing, or a mini mario pipe etc. I'm undecided.
I feel dirty, by all accounts this game is easy, so why did I see the game over screen yesturday
I'm onto world 4 now, the ice world I'm really enjoying this title. Especially due to it containing the best mini game ever, the one where you drag the bombs into the colour coordinated bins to the left and right. It's so simple yet sooooooooooooo addictive.
You like those mini games?
I dunno, I can take them or leave them. There's something a bit JAVA about them. Proof of concept-ish.
Nice to hear your a complete Mario n00b then... I have never seen a Game Over screen myself, ever, you must tell me what it looks like. I thought all games ended with credits... is this not the case... is this what happens when, what's it called, life gauge? reaches zero....?
TBH, I've only really played this game on the train, I've been down to my last 4 lives or so, but the game spits them out so often, having lives at all seems a little pointless, but then, what happend in Super Mario World, it didn't wipe your game save or anything.
The two player game is pretty smart if you get a chance to play it, quite bizarre.

Most of the mini games do have nasty stench of rubbish flash games, but there's a couple that are pretty addictive.
My mario skills are feeble, I've not played anything like this for so long I'm just wack.
I haven't had a chance to get any two-player fix for this title, I'll see if I can find someone to play with me.
I’m determined to complete this game 100% just because I’ve seen the game over screen, and that’s just fighting talk.
Who would of thought it, I've seen my second game over screen
I went from 14 lives to 0, how's that possible!!! I can weave in and out perfectly during manic shmups, but i can't jump over a few platforms.
Ive almost completed it though, I've got one more world to complete, before going back and unlocking the two other worlds.
You're not alone I'm also shockingly bad at Mario games. I think the big difference in terms of mechanics is the momentum the little guy carries makes the whole thing a completely different discipline to a shmup where changes in direction are instantaneous.
Try playing ProjectX (Not the best of shmups). It has inertia and momentum physics based on how heavily loaded your ship is. It makes the game quite interesting actually in the sense that you have to trade off manouverability and firepower.

BBC news
Nintendo has snubbed the loyal band first to take the DS home by releasing a new, improved model,...N64 was the only console in the Japanese giant's history to escape the makeover.
What I found was that because the game is fundamentally easy, I just didn't get up to that gaming gear where the world around me would fuzz out. I never really zoned in New Super Mario Bros until the last 4 levels or so.
The pace and vibe of the game is such that you tend to just chill out and relax when playing the game, instead of stare a hole through the screen.
Also the wall jumping get out of jail free card mechanic helps for that too.
To sum up. Easy game. When it does turn it on, you don't. And because you know you don't have to start from the start on death, I, and maybe everyone else on planet earth, just kinda doesn't try.
I finished this title last week cos I was determined not to be a lil' bitch and complete it. I'm like left feeling REALLY empty, like I dont even wanna go back and collect all the coins unlock the other two spare worlds. I dunno whats wrong with it, to be honest I was expecting to play the game and write a glittering review of it. Now it's like meh', the new power ups aren't really used that well and I'm finding that the fireflower is still THE powerup to use.
Some of the levels are stunning though, but certainly it's not what i was expecting which was 9/10+ kinda title especially after reading many peoples first play views over at ntsc-uk.
Secrets are where its at dawg. Where the powerups start making sense.
Did you find the levels got alot more interesting in the final world?
I certainly did, the volanoe levels inparticular.
Yeah I enjoyed the Ice and Fire(?) worlds far more, I absolutely hated the swimming levels more than anything.
Fire and Ice you say?
Swimming? I use to hate ice levels back in the day. Got to grips with them eventually... until I played Banjo and Kazooie... which made me want to hurt the world.
Hey hey hey, thought I'd hype myself up about New Super Mario Bros Wii, since there has been a info dump from Nintendo about it... some of the video knocking around make it look more akin to the more elaborate Super Mario World... lots of lighting tricks, insane enemies, stuff happening everywhere, the whole multiplayer on screen thing...
Also, a TIN has been announced for the PAL version a TIN! The box... it comes... in a... TIN. So you get the plastic box, and what they've done, it seems, is to put the plastic box, into a TIN, then sell it, for money.
Can you be Bowser?
Bowser is the new Ken....or the old Ken, but whatever.
I don't know what kinda vortex would appear if Bowser rode Yoshi...?
I don't think you can be anyhting other than Mario, Luigi and some Toads?
Bowser doesn't need a Yoshi for a steed - he has this;
PIMP!
I don't know what kinda vortex would appear if Bowser rode Yoshi...?
You need to play Yoshi's Island DS then, OK so it's technically Baby Bowser, but the thought is there.
Its looking more and more like a larger almost "World" mario to me...?

Some of the levels look freaking nuts.
I hope its more Mario than the DS gave me.
Hott damm

Looking sweet.
deeerrrrreeeeeaaaaammmm sceeenaaaaarioooooo...
after a quick passport check, I'll replace the chinless guy. Then, we'll see where things go... maybe some err where's this going?
New Super Mario Bros Wii advocate here... got an email from Nintendo telling me I wasn't being subversive enough with my activation of hardcore players...
But then... I don't think this counts as hardcore as its not sepia.
Classic reactions from the guy halfway through.
The pressure of playing whilst being filmed must be immense!
Mine has been posted, I can sense that the world is as psyched as I am.
Mine has arrived! Has it? Yes it has. Are you playing it now? Why yes I am! Really? Yes! What's it like? It is infused and exudes a rainbow plectrum of awesomeness that can't be articulated without dance. Right, the whole dance thing? Yeah man, the Koopas, they dance on the beat of the amazingly smile inducing music! So you are saying the Koopas dance? Yes! and the Fish! The Fish dance as well, I bet the flowers do right? Yup, they wiggle along with the up beat, there's no world crisises banjo NES medleys. So what's the verdict? Well, I am just up to the end of world 1, there are plenty of secrets and little things that are skipping the game along, alot more interesting than the anemic DS version, its killed me a few times and the level design is exstatically magic. Groovy. Groovy.
I think this is fucking brilliant - it fuses elements of previous 2D Marios together into something wonderful; & it's as easy or as hard as you want it to be: collecting all of the star coins is no mean feat I tell thee.
SHiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. I can't spend any more serious money on games at the moment.
Something for my Christmas stocking then.
How does the multiplayer work? That seemed a step too far to my mind, but then if anyone can make it work Nintendo can.
Same here, too many games :s
Will have to track one down for Christmas...
I'm finding it properly frustratingly entertainingly Mario-y. Start to introduce "new" stuff in World 2 and then 4. Nice clever level design and some nice new enemies.
Also, I don't remember Mario picking up barrels in anything for a long time. That's a bit of an ethical dilemma I would've thought.
Not played it multiplayer yet, that'll be a whole different vibe I'm sure.
