I was just reading up on this it's some sort of hi-res 2D RTS by Vanillaware looks very nice there also a similar looking game from Atlus called Odin Sphere which is a side-scrolling 2d action RPG like Kingdom Hearts. There both for the PS2 Odin Sphere is already getting a US release in late Spring. I was goind to mention both these on NTSC-uk but decided against it.

You welcome there also a new RPG by Nippon Ichi called Soul Cradle it's just out come out in Japan there some impressions over here. It seems to have all the usual NI games madness so it should be right up your alley Saur.

O_O - I completely forgot about Soul Cradle! I had a look at that site when it was just a teaser and tactically tried to forget about it till it came out, I'm such a pothead it ended up being a little too effective! XD

No but it is made by the same team they started a new company called Vanillaware this is there first game.

When's 'Wii Carlton' coming out?

Never have I seen such beautiful 2D work. Just look at the detail. Great to see that there's still some really exciting 2D stuff being produced. Looks like it's using a similar joint animation thing to Guily Gear et al.

Grim Grimoire and Soul Cradle will be released in the US later this year along with the PSP version of Disgaea which is going to some quite nice additions including new chapters in the single player game and a new ending.

PSP Disgaea? Oh my goodness, I think I might buy PSP! Another ending? There are several anyway so that is good news

Odin Sphere is now confirmed for a US release on the 22nd May a mere 5 days after the JP release and the US version will have dual-langauges so no dodgy dub for saurian.

I love these people, I really do!

I havent played an RPG since the Japanese FFXII - I cant deal with the US dubs at all.
