Decided to attack Majora's Mask at the weekend. FIrst time I played it, I simply didn't get it at all. Second time I played it, I simply didn't get it at all. Third time I played it, I persevered, and I now "get it" properly.

It's a majorly bizarre concept, which isn't really explained to the player at all, it expects you to work out the consequences of things, and the ramifications of time travel, whilst gaining items "outside of time".

Which is a bit of of conceptual for any biped roaming this planet. And then its presented in the most frightening way, its not guns and hiphop dark, it's psychologically dark, pearcing the fabric of your mind dark, interspersed with the usual fluffy Zeldaness.

The best analogy I can give in gameplay terms is its what Yoshi's Island is to Super Mario World... it's like Nintendo got bored of their flagship product and made an altogether different game, which is the same, but so varied and so fun at the same time.
