Words cannot convey how much I love Jambo Safari.

Shweetzilla.

"Deeper gameplay" must mean stylus and pointer use right?

I've never played this enough to know enough, but I alway dug the idea.

Great news Smile

I hope the original arcade game is in there too. The press release makes this sound more like a collection of Minigames (which I suppose the original is tbh) with some light management components.

I'm so pumped for this game. Someone at Sega is doing something right for once Smile

Driving on the nunchuck, freeing up the remote for capturing it would seem.

Jib. If you've not played it at any length you need to. The coolest thing about it is the hidden missions. Filling up a canteen by drifting through a pond. Knocking monkeys out of trees etc. etc. etc.

Looking remixed? I am out of my depth on this one, like talking about Pong.

Drop in arcade mode which might be a bit annoying depending on how they implement. This is a must buy though. It will get poor reviews I bet as very few people seem to understand this game or have played it at any length

Didn't realise, but this is already out! Did anyone purchase?

It iS? Totally missed it. Where the hell was the hype! Nothing on any websites or nowt.

I need a copy of this, will look into ordering one.

It's £22 on VGP, but based on the reviews I might hold off until it's dropped in price. Sounds like they've dumbed it down for the kids - they have it so easy these days. Why the hell they didn't just include a proper arcade mode for the likes of us I just don't know.

I grabbed the DS version for a fiver, but still haven't tried it... reviews and screens make both versions look grim Sad

Anyone given the Wii version a go?

Nope I'm put off by the whole kid friendly angle. If it's around a tenner anywhere then I might be tempted to import.

Picked it up in Tesco for £9 today... still not tried the DS version.

My memory of the arcade version may be too faded now, it must be 12 years since I've played it.

Had a quick go - its clearly aimed at kids, very easy, but not at all terrible and the basic driving/lassoing mechanic is the same.

This is a good review in fact:

chimes with what I've seen of it - would need to put some more time in really.

Will probably pick this up eventually as I'm a massive fan of the arcade game. Good to get some positive comments on it as the core of the arcade was fundamentally solid. Sounds like that at least is intact Smile
