Played the DC Hydro Thunder a bit and quite enjoyed it. This doesn't look half bad based on that trailer, ok so it's not doing anything original or interesting, but then sometimes all you need is a solid game to have some fun.

I was never too impressed with Hydro Thunder... but this looks like they've made more of the wave ideas established in yer Wave Race's of the world, with some quality raw speed and stupidity.

And this is exactly the kind of slightly commercially sketchy ideas I was dreaming would be released on these download services. Its basically a must buy, just to support the mere concept existing!

The off road Four Wheel Thunder iirc was the better game? I could be way off the mark, but I can see the logic of picking the boat based game as the one to work with as at least it differentiates it from the glut of racers we have available.

If the waves 'feel' right then this could be a lot of fun.
