I found some time in between Guitar Hero 2 to adjust my setup, inspired by Saurian's definitive pimp slap video (with capital D), so now everyone's being slapped.

This game is so much fun.

I finished Normal aswell - you start again with loads more moves available at the shop! But I want this setup in Hard Mode so I'm going through that now. It's the God Knuckle you're able to pick up at the shop after the first loop that's totally KILLER -

Nice vids. I've yet to try the Frying Pan + God Knuckle technique, but hope to do so tonight.

I finally finished this myself last night. Was gonna jump straight into Hard, but wanna do a clean run with NO continues like you manz on Normal first. And I just realised I've still got a good few fights to rinse in the arena yet.

I know this is Off topic, but what does a pleb like me need to get some vids up on Youtube. I know a few here have accounts, and I joined to watch all your sick vids, but I promised some peeps I'd get some stuff up on there and I haven't a clue how I go about it.:? Can I just hook my VCR up to the t.v., or do I gotta use other means? The missus says a we've got a video capture card in the compy (that's needed, right?). ALL HELP APPRECIATED. TA.

Yeah that's what I use man -

It's just composite video output from my SCART splitter to the video capture card. For editing anything is fine - I just use the Ulead Videostudio software that came with my card, as long as the total file size is less than 100MB it's fine to upload to YouTube.

You have to deal with the curse of the record button tho - you'll be playing with Keanu Reeves standard of l33tness ALL evening, then as soon as you hit record to make a vid you start playing like shit! XD

You still on God Hand at all man? - I'm playing through Hard Mode at the moment, it was handy that I only played Die on my Normal playthrough because that IS Hard Mode!
Absolutely tearing through it as a result, up to stage 6 so far - need to get Hard Mode finished so I can start again with all the extra Heroness available in the shop right away. The "God" versions of attacks are just ridiculous! O_o

Yeah, I practically played it non stop, and then restarted the game at one point and made my way back to Level 8. Managed to sort out my recording equipment, and spent ages on this one section where I had to fight like 3 axe women, 1 electric baton guy, the disco dude and his cow pants wearing mate.

Shit was fucking solid! Hours of play later, I was doing enough damage and managed multiple times to narrow down the 9+ dudes one by one to the final Trident Demon. Stupidly, I wrongly dodged 3 TIMES his vertical attack and got killed. Had a full tension bar and everything. That pissed me off ALOT...but not as much as finding out that the capture card failed!

That was the last straw and I have not touched the game for 2 weeks now. All my own fault, but the game is bare stress, and I dont need it at the mo. xD

THEN, a week ago some dude sends me a PM and says that I should just use a RED God Hand Reel attack on them all, and job done. Went to the shop, and I dont know how I missed it...a red God Hand attack. Loaded the game up got to the same point, did the God Attack...it killed them all dead. Switched it off as I couldnt believe it.

That one section made me much better at the game though, used everything I learnt previously to tackle all those guys, but I wish I had bought that God attack now. :/

Went to Boog's meet over the weekend, and I have been pimping this game for AGES to loads of people, saying how good it is. Went to show everyone, and I made the game look so shit! I lost my edge, and was fluffing up counter strikes and dodges and messing up the Tension Meter punch skank.

Managed to shake the rust (was only 2 weeks!), but everyone was cool and saw the potential awesomeness of the game.

I will be going back to it again soon, but just busy playing other stuff like GoW and RR7 at the mo.

This might've been mentioned earlier (been out of the loop for while). According to HG101, the head slicer move (which _randomly_ beheads your Alexander wannabees) is apparently exclusive to the US/PAL version of the game.

Ugh, would it have hurt to keep the frying pan, Capcom?

Put something which totally doesnt fit in with the game at all to suit the US/UK gore fans - while removing a comedy move which becomes absolutely essential!

What I love doing now is when Jean simply pokes a demon with his finger and they explode! - Get his life all the way down then kick him in the nuts or use the "Piyohand" ("Chain Yanker I think the US one calls it) - these moves never kill, it just takes the life to zero and causes stun.

Next O button push and Jean just pokes with his finger = death and audience laughter. You get masses of money for doing this aswell when you get your bonus at the end of the stage.

Ah, so that's how you do it. I managed to pull that off a few times on the first play through, but couldn't figure out how to bring about the prompt. It is indeed an awesome move.

This game NEVER gets old! The way this game gets no recognition for how fucking amazing it is makes me want to suplex random Yoshis. The system in this game pisses over EVERYTHING, only Viewtiful Joe and Devil May Cry 3 are on the same level, WTF is wrong with people these days??!?
