Is there _anything_ worth playing?
Apart from FreeCell:

You used to wonder how people can be so obsessed with computer games. But lately you've been bonding with your daughter over her favorite game, The Sims 2. And now you've taken to playing FreeCell on your lunch breaks. Welcome to habitual fun and to improved gaming support in Windows Vista Ultimate.
For one thing, you and your kids will be impressed with the hyper-realistic visuals and incredible performance.
AWFUL.
"Daddy, daddy! What is a g-a-m-e?"
"Hmm, perhaps we can bond over FreeCell, nothing gets me pumped like cards... and studly caps... yes, and she seemed so distant before."
Steam indie lucky dipping seem like the best option, lots of interesting ideas there, but I don't see all that many great games. Was very interested in Audiosurf, but apart from the visual prettiness it is a dull version of Klax. Crysis is again nice to look at, but a very dull FPS. There is a theme here. A track ball seems to be more lethal that a machine gun in Crysis too, that can't be right.

You mean as a gaming platform?
Wanna FreeCell?
Yes, Games for Windows.
Ah Right,
well, Company of Heroes is brilliant.

Which is the greatest race simulation I have ever played
2 must haves is usually worth the price of admission pour moi
Played some Race demo, I think I'd get bored trying to tackle the whole thing. It is impressive though.
Aren't they pimping out the engine to other people? Maybe some of those worth playing.
Race is the most physically and mentally exhausting (pun) game I have ever played... I am so tired after 4 laps, and can't finish a race... I've only kinda learned 1 track and 1 car... and I am still horrible at it.
Meant to be an xboid version at some point... maybe its out... no idea.
But you can get a series thats called GTR... basically anything by SimBin is SimGold not SimPets.
