If Bayonetta brings it with a deep fighting system and fair cues from EVERY enemy I'll devote some serious time to it above all else, if its whack though I shall hunt down Saurian and teef his stash!

Cues are SO fucking important yet it's the one thing gamers on the whole can't seem to grasp.

I've massively got back into DMC3 and am blowing up all over again about how perfect the system is. Due to the clear cues you can absolutely devastate the game once you tune into them.

Like you know that stage (the one where you get Artemis) when you go into that "Essense of Fighting" room and face a whole army? I was in there the other night in DMD mode and managed the whole fucking thing without so much as a scratch on Dante after not having played the game for months. Once I tuned into the sound there was NO WAY I was getting hit, even when it's a combination of those red reapers and the white ones which teleport - I was parrying everything without even having to think about timing.

This is what's missing from DMC4 and why the game is a heaving pile of testicles. How the hell are you meant to judge 4 frame windows from attacks coming at you from all angles?

I've been quite deliberately avoiding Bayonetta stuff, as I saw 2 seconds of one vid which appeared to be a fight against an entire castle, not the inhabitants mind you, but the ACTUAL CASTLE... that I took a step back, and decided that non-interactive 2D imagery wasn't good enough to articulate the kind of, "This is what computer games are, and always should have been about type of imagination vs gameplay vs human preconceptions"...

Like y'know, in Mario Galaxy, you can walk upside down right... and that's seen as the great breakthrough... but why can't you walk upside down and inside out?

It just bugs me, that computer games as a medium play it safe 99.999% of the time, when the scope and imagination and concepts available are limitless.

What fucking planet are these fuckwits on? First they delay the western release which fucks up everything, then in their wisdom they decide to release the Japanese version on the same day as Tekken 6!

I swear they are doing everything in their power to ensure this game does not achieve the success it should have, everything Sega does seems to be counter-productive as if they are doing it on purpose! Just like with MadWorld they are going fail miserably in sales, I can see it happening. Why does Platinum's output have to rely on a publisher as braindead as Sega? There's no justice in the world T_T
