Really hate this game, I've tried to like it honestly but the humorous characters aren't enough to make this game likeable.
I really don't have much time to invest in games any more so these games that you've "to stick with" are wasted on me. I want instant satisfaction playing titles, this really is a slow burner. Although reading ntsc-uk's first play thread the elements that put me off the title don't get fixed.
There's this god awful Rupee system where you have to barter for everything goods, advice, level advancement etc... Rupee's are sparse to say the least during the beginning of the game, and you can spend obscene amounts of money for a piece of useless information because each time you get it wrong it takes away your money with no guidance as to how much you're meant to spend.
I don't feel attached to the title at all, as the story is non-existent for the first few worlds. The battle system is repulsive to me, and apart from the art direction and crazy characters there's nothing to warrant continuing playing this title.
Not really interested in this at all, tbh, but when I first saw Tingle back in Majora's Mask, I did wonder if someone at Nintendo didn't base him on this fellow:
