Hi all,
For anyone locked away in a depressing office all day these make for some fab background noise. I think they're really well put together with a combination of unique footage and high quality dialogue. I also happen to think they're very informative although I'm no expert on any of the titles that they look back on. So yeah I just thought I'd give you guys a heads up for tomorrow's wonderful day stuck inside an office breathing in the same regurgitated air.

I'm finding that the Metroid retrospective improves tenfold if you blank out the narrator and just leave all the pretty footage playing in the background, but it's doing its job as background noise very well
I downloaded the fansub of the official Zelda no Video documentary from 2003, and I only got around to watching it today. It has loads of great footage of every game in the series and interviews with everyone you can think of including Shigeru Miyamoto, a member of the Shiren the Wanderer team ( possibly my favourite SNES game http://agtp.romhack.net/project.php?id=shiren ), and someone from the Capcom studio that made the GBC Zeldas. Even if you don't like the Zelda games, it's fascinating to hear how Shigeru Miyamoto helped balance Kirby's Dream Course and how he can't think of a single Zelda puzzle that he's perfectly happy with. You can get it on archive.org or watch it on google video:

Cool thanks for the heads up. Might make the day slide by a little quicker...
That's nuts you mention this - I watched the Metroid one while bored out of my mind at work today. Spot on about the narrator - he's such a knob, I muted it and had my own music playing instead.
